Channel outage.

[edit]

Twice in two days same approximate time channel goes out. No weather problems. Is your people who can't do their jobs? 2601:406:4D02:2C60:C156:8577:1EF5:C2C9 (talk) 02:08, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, while I understand that the electricity problem in AA is upsetting (and needs to be fixed!), Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and isn't the place for that discussion. ——267 07:29, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:URFA/2020 and WP:FA concerns

[edit]

I am reviewing this article as part of WP:URFA/2020, an initiative to improve English Wikipedia's older featured articles. I have some concerns with this article, which I am outlining below:

  • Information has been added to the article since it's FAR that is too detailed for an article of this scope. This includes much of the information about various issues in the "Politics" section, much of the Sports section, the 2010 census data and information in the "Economy" section.
  • The "Infrastructure" suffers from MOS:OVERSECTION.
  • There are several uncited passages throughout the article.

Is anyone interested in fixing up this article on this article? Z1720 (talk) 03:07, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Started copyediting the article. There would be a lot of summations and adding citations. I do have a concern about the "Politics" section as a lot of it appears to be from recent years. Is there a good way to handle this? PentawingTalk 03:04, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dioxane and groundwater

[edit]

There is a passage concerning dioxane in the "Utilities" section, but the citation is merely from a county information update that looks like any regular update that a county government would put out for the benefit of residents. Hence, I don't know if this is worthy of being in the article. For now, I have moved the passage in question to the talk page.

  • A plume of the industrial solvent dioxane is migrating under the city from the contaminated Gelman Sciences, Inc. property on the westside of Ann Arbor. It is currently detected at 0.039 ppb.[1] The Gelman plume is a potential threat to one of the City of Ann Arbor's drinking water sources, the Huron River, which flows through downtown Ann Arbor.[citation needed]
